Church View

Eckington, Pershore

Blend Architects was commissioned to carry out a detailed study to improve the efficiency of a busy family home whilst also benefiting from a large single-storey rear extension that promotes open plan living.

The property sits at the heart of a conservation area in Pershore, meaning that any development needed to be considerate to the host dwelling and sit comfortably within the local vernacular.

The rear elevation is clad in contrasting natural and burnt larch to provide textured interest against the existing light coloured brickwork. A large picture window with an integrated planter provides framed views into the established garden.

Due to the sensitivity of the project and location within a conservation area, we assisted the client with a detailed pre-application report during Stage 2, and continue to work with the client through Stage 4 and 5 services.
